Full description of the position

BWI Companies is seeking multiple territory sales representatives to develop and expand the central, west coast and south Florida and surrounding areas professional Golf & LCO markets. These successful candidates will generate leads, qualify prospects, and build relationships by recommending agronomic solutions and selling value added chemicals, fertilizers, and other beneficial products. Additional responsibilities include soliciting new accounts, creating, and implementing sales strategies, executing sales promotions, and being proficient with product knowledge.
This position will be supported by multiple full-service distribution warehouses in the state of Florida.
More specifically, you will:

• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Prepare agronomic plans and bids that meet specific customer needs.
• Provide customers with product samples and literature.
• Monitor and evaluate market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Identify weed and disease situations with customers.
• Communicate and establish relationships with manufacturers on product pricing and availability.
• Participate as an active team member in division sales meetings.
• Perform all other duties as directed by the Sales Manager, in support of the overall success of the division and company.

To apply for this position, you must have a Bachelors Degree, and two to four years of agronomic turf related sales experience or a combination of education and turf work experience. Background in industry is required.
