Currently, we are seeking a dynamic Event Sales Manager to join our Orlando Team at our new location on International Drive.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in restaurants.
  • Bachelors Degree in Sales, Hospitality Management, Event Management, or other related field of study. (Not required, but preferred)
  • Familiar with all social media platforms and how to use them to maximize engagement. (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Familiar with event software platforms (preferably Tripleseat)
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and works well in groups
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality events
  • Proficient in retail math for budgeting purposes
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Familiar with event organization and execution in the Orlando events market
  • Strong relationships or connections with Orlando destination management companies and contacts

Job Duties

-Must know how to use Tripleseat event booking software. If you are not familiar with this system, we will provide you with training. This software will be used to create BEOs and help communicate events to management and guests.

-Responsible for inputting all event and catering inquiries at home into Tripleseat

-Responsible for following up with each event inquiry in a timely manner to ensure all efforts to book the event are being utilized

-Responsible for booking all events and catering, creating event and catering menus, and making sure event(s) run smoothly and up to company standards

-Responsible for event menu creation with the help of the Head Chef and Culinary Director

-Ensure all events are executed flawlessly with the help of the event lead server and other restaurant employees

-Continue to communicate to clients about their event and ensure that the client has everything they need for their event

-Follow up with clients post event to ensure satisfaction and make an effort to gain referrals

-Finalize all event agreements/contracts and ensure that deposits and payments are received in a timely manner

-Train host/hostess team on how to properly take information for event leads and establish a system for communicating these leads

-Must work off-site catering events when needed

-Must work off-site marketing events when needed (i.e., Taste of the Nation) and be a brand ambassador in the community

-Keep inventory of all on-site and off-site catering equipment and event decor; establish a system to ensure equipment and dcor return

-Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and ensure their vision is brought to life

-Develop event timelines and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time

-Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure financial targets are met

-Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, such as caterers, decorators, and entertainment providers

-Oversee event setup and teardown, ensuring all elements are in place and the venue is properly prepared

-Coordinate event staff and volunteers, providing clear instructions and guidance

-Manage event registration processes, including ticket sales and attendee communication

-Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and obtain necessary permits or licenses for events

-Must work on-site and be available for restaurant tours & events.
