Full description of the position

Position Overview:

As a Sales Account Manager at Tuesday's Natural Dog Company, your primary objective is to maintain and grow our existing customer accounts. You will be a key contributor to our sales team, building and nurturing relationships with our valued clients, and ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with existing accounts..
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, provide product information, and offer solutions that align with their goals.
  • Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas by implementing effective sales strategies and tactics.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our product line, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities, providing regular reports to the management team.
  • Business Development: Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new business.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the pet industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of the pet industry, including trends and customer needs, is a plus

Pay: From $50,000/ year base and commission structure

  • Low performers: $50,000-65,000/ year
  • Average Performers: $90,000-100,000/year
  • High Performers: $180,000-200,000/year
