Full description of the position

Lucia Landscaping is an award-winning, service-based company with over 25 years in business, serving commercial clients in Michigan. With over 130 employees, we have an award-winning team and culture with high growth! We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team and contribute to our exciting plans for growth and expansion.

This position provides a salary range of $80,000-$90,000/annually based on experience, plus opportunities for commission. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as a 401k, paid time off and paid holidays.

Requirements for our Business Development Representative:

  • 5+ years of sales experience; experience in the lawn, landscape or snow removal experience is preferred;
  • Extensive face-to-face (B2B) selling experience;
  • Experience planning and implementing sales strategies;
  • Customer relationship management experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Highly motivated, competitive, coachable and results driven;
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to build value-based relationships.

Key Responsibilities for our Business Development Representative:

  • Actively prospecting new leads and clients through cold calling and cold emailing;
  • Fielding inbound leads, requests for proposals and scope of work forms;
  • Holding discovery conversations with prospective customers in-person and over the phone;
  • Establishing relationships with leads and clients by cultivating positive rapport and relationships with the intention of keeping sales lines open and available;
  • Achieving daily volume and contact goals;
  • Identifying relevant trends and opportunities;
  • Managing information in our CRM to ensure accurate record keeping;
  • Partnering with Account Managers to handle questions, comments and concerns from customers;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
