About Us

Builders Building Supply is a new building supply starting the Dothan and Enterprise areas. We supply lumber, siding, flooring, plumbing, electrical, hvac, and much more and are growing every day. This position is a role for someone who can help us grow our customer base and get started in sales. Pay is based on industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develops relationships with potential customers through job visits and phone interaction, ensures the accurate completion of job takeoffs and quotes. Provides product knowledge and trade insight into all aspects of the customers project.
• Prepares and presents accurate sales proposals and quotes to prospective or current customers
• Interacts with customers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Provides accurate information to customers regarding proper materials and jobsite pricing.
• Performs job-site visits to ensure delivery and timely completion
• Coordinates all deliveries and credit pick-ups with yard supervisor
• Represents the company in a professional manner daily and at all business related functions.
• Diligently manages customer files and provides all necessary follow up to achieve 100% customer satisfaction on every project.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 experience in sales, new construction/remodeling is preferred
• Knowledge of building materials and their applications.
• Blueprint reading and ability to perform material take offs is preferred
• Motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of computer usage and familiarity with word & excel
