Full description of the position

**Onsite training required for the first six months before hybrid/remote is an option, pending managerial approval

We are looking to hire a reliable, energetic Business Developer to work full-time in our Indianapolis office. If the above description sounds like you, we want to talk to you about joining our growing DB Services team in our ongoing mission to positively impact clients through the development of custom solutions that increase workplace efficiencies.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities

*

  • Screen new business opportunities

*

  • Initiate communications with potential prospects and existing customers via electronic channels

*

  • Guide prospects through long sales cycles while continuing to grow and nurture accounts

*

  • Understand business processes and offerings in order to communicate value and services to prospective customers

*

  • Write proposals for company services for potential customers

*

  • Identify appropriate RFIs and RFQs and navigate bidding processes

*

  • Work directly with CEO and sales engineers to close qualified opportunities

*

  • Update customer information and prospect information in CRM tools, Salesforce experience a bonus

*

  • Create licensing quotes and manage licensing renewals for customers

*

  • Build relationships with current customers through follow-up communications

*

  • Collaborate with sales engineers to scope out development projects

*

  • Answer incoming calls

*

  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
*

  • Bachelors degree preferred

*

  • 2+ years business development experience

*

  • Experience facilitating extended sales cycles from start to finish over long periods of time

*

  • Proven history of closing large deals

*

  • Confidence and drive to deliver verbal communications with prospects and customers

*

  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

*

  • Must demonstrate high levels of persistence and resilience

*

  • Strong organizational skills

*

  • Exhibit signs of innovation and a positive attitude

*

  • Flexibility to pick up and assist with other tasks for the team

*

  • Ability to perform job functions with little-to-no supervision

*

  • Familiarity with EOS methodology is a plus
