Mon Oeil Brands is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our sales team and contribute to the continued rapid growth of the fragrance brands we distribute in the United States and Canada.
The right person will be enthusiastic about perfume, home fragrance, art, and design. Sales representatives manage an assigned territory while meeting and exceeding sales goals, increasing top-line revenue and company profitability across multiple brands. Representatives are accountable for aggressive sales growth for existing customers and new prospects. To be successful, you will operate your territory as an entrepreneur with passion, motivation, and discipline.
The ideal candidate for this position would reside in either Portland, Los Angeles, or New York City.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Represents internal and external brands.
- Understands and represents the values and values of each brand.
- Prepare action plans to identify and aggressively pursue specific prospects in your territory.
- Effectively present company products to existing and new customers and existing customers through training.
- Generates creative solutions to support and increase sales.
- Retain and increase market share over competitors.
- Maintain personal ownership and accountability over the success of your territory.
- Overnight travel required to trade shows, and visits to key territories and accounts.
- Approach each day with an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to meet your personal financial goals.
- Meets or exceeds sales goals.
Skill & Knowledge Requirements
- Professional sales skills and the understanding of selling processes.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, including the ability to relate to multiple levels and functions within customer organizations.
- Strong negotiating skills with a focus on maintaining profitable relationships.
- Strong influence and collaboration skills, including demonstrated ability to coordinate work effectively with an inside sales partner.
- Exceptional work drive, money motivation and entrepreneurial passion for sales.
- Basic business acumen in order to analyze and discuss customer operations.
- Acumen to proficiently incorporate proprietary CRM tools into their selling processes.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of multi-channel, luxury, eCommerce, and brick-and-mortar retailing, plus modern social medial and traditional marketing systems and methods.
Qualifications
- Exceptional business writing skills and oral communication.
- Industry knowledge of luxury or niche fragrances
- Excellent sales and closing skills as well as problem solving capabilities
- Domestic and international travel overnight, up to 7 days
- Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
Education
- 4 year college degree is preferred. Applicable industry experience may also be considered
Experience
- Wholesale/Outside sales and territory management: 2 years
- International sales or export experience a plus
- Niche or luxury fragrance experience required
- Cosmetics industry experience considered

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
