Purpose of the Job
The mission of this role is to grow the companys revenue by identifying and nurturing leads, and helping potential customers find the right solutions for their needs, with a particular focus on electrical services. This requires listening to customers, providing recommendations, creating and sending estimates in a timely manner, following up consistently on leads to ensure the right solution has been offered and to overcome objections, and coordinating scheduling with the operations team. Post-sale activities include following up to request feedback and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls and inquiries for electrical, ventilation and skylight work
- Own the quoting process for jobs
- Generate electrical, ventilation and skylight estimates and present to prospective customers
- Negotiate and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Communicate with customers and ask for reviews, referrals and feedback
- Identify and pursue new sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and pipeline
Key Qualifications
- History of success in a sales and customer-centric role
- Understanding of or interest in selling services in the trades
- Ability to manage the job quoting process
- Standard computer literacy, including proficiency in communication tools and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in home services, especially electrical work
- Track record of developing new business independently (prospecting)
- Ability to conduct in-person walk-throughs for job scoping
