Edelman has an opportunity for an Account Supervisor to join our talented and award-winning digital health team in our Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, Dallas, or Atlanta offices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help a global pharmaceutical company communicate with healthcare professionals, policymakers, and other health stakeholders about innovative products that have a profound effect on peoples lives. You will plan and manage digital communications and marketing techniques to help clients achieve their objectives.

What youll do:
The Digital Account Supervisor is creative by nature but driven by data, helping to develop unique integrated brand experiences that resonate. The programs youll work on are buzz-worthy and digital at their core, though they can take any shape or form. You will help solve client challenges and tell their stories across platforms and channels youll get to push boundaries because you have the data to back it.
The diverse work includes writing cohesive content, social and digital strategies, and leading the execution of the campaigns and programs. Youre also familiar with judging content performance through analyzing key metrics.

Responsibilities:

    • Oversee operational performance of accounts, ensuring quality work, deadline, and budget adherence
    • Provide strategy and content marketing solutions for a global pharmaceutical client across a variety of disease areas
    • Serve as daily client contact, digital/social strategist, and client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
    • Consistently produce high-quality external digital communications content including social media and website content
    • Demonstrate excellent writing skills with a knack for storytelling and creating highly engaging content within the healthcare space
    • Work collaboratively with the account and client teams to outline approaches to digital strategy, ensuring the content strategy ladders back to the business priorities
    • Build relationships with internal specialists (paid media, content, creative, planning, analytics, etc.) and senior stakeholders to meet client needs
    • Show tactical proficiency in digital and social strategy, including creating and driving integrated execution plans
    • Mine available digital data (client, third-party, syndicated) for actionable insights and business intelligence and know how to strategically leverage clients data ecosystems (e.g., CRM/first-party data)
    • Show up as an expert in the latest digital platforms and best practices to translate content strategies effectively within the digital ecosystem and ensure creative is designed to perform
    • Have a deep understanding of available measurement tools and methodologies to ensure programs are tied to performance metrics
    • Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building a network of industry contacts, and participating in relevant professional organizations
    • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals
    • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelmans values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct

Basic Qualifications:

    • At least 4+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications social media, or content teams with an agency or in-house background
    • A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven ability to manage large projects (including budgets) and small teams simultaneously
    • Proven ability to lead digital, social, and content workstreams and devise and write strategy and content
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate and accurately judge and edit the work of others
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
$67,000 - $94,000 a year
An employees pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEHs total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
