Job Summary:

Join Hawaiis leading distributor of agricultural and industrial chemicals, fertilizer and specialty products. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. The Sales Director will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the market.

Duties:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for growth
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in market dynamics

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or commensurate experience in related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Proficient in using CRM software
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Proven track record of driving business growth through successful sales initiatives
- Ability to travel interisland as needed
