Full description of the position

We are looking for a retail associates to help with customers' orders, packaging, checking out and organizing the retail section of our store. Retail associates' responsibilities include educating customers on menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge on pastry and bakery items. You should be able to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Team player and self-motivated individual
• Help customers with orders or with any questions
• Be familiar with bakery offerings and off the shelf products
• Be familiar with merchandising on the shelves
• Check out customers
• Serve customers as needed
• Restocking of service items (napkins, cups, straws, sanitary items, etc)
• Stock receiving and managing supplies
• Work closely with back of the house staff to ensure a seamless service
• Be responsible for quality control

Skills

• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Basic math skills
• Ability to gauge customers preferences
• Excellent communication skills
• Servsafe food safety training is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
