HipCityVeg is now seeking a Catering Sales Manager to spearhead the growth and development of our catering program.
In this role you will have the opportunity to market and sell catering services to potential social and corporate clients in consistency with maintaining the highest standards regarding guest experience that will help us to generate new business and promote HipCityVeg & Bar Bombon catering sales. The Catering Sales Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of the catering program, from sales & coordination, through customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities (Included, but not limited to):
- Constantly network to build awareness of the brand and the catering program; including marketing events, promotional efforts, meet & greets, etc.
- Build a clientele of repeat customers; develop a database and method for continuing contact & sales
- Increase catering sales revenue for each store; work in collaboration with the senior Operations team to create budgets and estimated monthly sales goals
- Oversee the production and execution of all onsite/offsite events & catering orders, including travel to DC regional area when necessary
- Develop a system and budget regarding charitable events
- Manage customer and vendor relations, negotiate pricing and contracts
- Consistently source cost-effective and eco-friendly products to better serve our orders & events (packaging, etc.)
- Oversee the rollout of any new catering items & initiatives, including marketing, sales and branding
- Create SOPs for the catering program; leads, timelines, processes, staffing
- Train staff and management on catering sales techniques and execution
- Assist with guest relations and inquiries as needed. Be able to speak knowledgeably about the catering menu and promote the product. Ensure that all guests are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Assist in promotional efforts as well as research and development to continue the growth of the brand. Including grass roots sales efforts & networking.
- Assist with event coordination, from setup, delivery, operational support and post-event breakdown and cleanup.
- Support with catering/events as needed for our sister restaurants, Bar Bombon & Charlie was a sinner.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant catering sales experience
- Fast-casual experience/knowledge preferred
- Experience in managing a staff of employees, setting deadlines and producing results
- Some travel required in Philadelphia and Washington, DC regional areas
- Full-time availability, Monday-Friday with occasional night/weekend events
