Come be a part of a winning automotive group! Galpin Motors is hiring an Administrative Assistant for Jaguar - Land Rover location in Van Nuys. If you have experience working in a fast paced environment that tailors to delivering an exceptional customer service experience, we want to talk to YOU!

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Experience in Automotive Industry, highly preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Professional work ethic and high integrity
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Some of What Youll do:

• Stock in any used car purchases/ Curbside Purchases.
• Receive paperwork for curbside purchases and prepare packets to be sent to the inventory team. If it is missing documents or documents are filled out incorrectly, contact whoever made the purchase and work together to obtain correct/missing documents.
• Know the reconditioning steps for a vehicle to get it ready for retail. We use Rapid Recon site. Stock in any used car purchases onto this site after stocking them into light year.
• Work with one or both or the runners in order to keep track of where each vehicle is on a weekly basis. Helps keep cars moving through recon steps accordingly and timely.
• Help with RO's that need to be prepared for when the vehicle gets sold.
• Create files/ jacket or place it in its corresponding file with extra key (if it has one).
• The jacket/ files then need to be filed in alphabetical order of stock # and by make.
• Check jackets weekly to make sure any available units in inventory have a jacket and to make sure the jacket has the correct number of extra keys (if any). Make sure they are in order and easily accessible as well as making files if any files are missing or needed.
• Keep up with service loaner status.

Pay: $16.78 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.78 20.00 per week
