Mobile Leasing Consultant - Seattle Portfolio
About us:
Northwest Apartments manages a large portfolio of diverse rental properties and apartment buildings ranging from historical to modern, located in Seattle. We pride ourselves on providing our residents with well-appointed apartment homes at a fair market rate. We have over 80 buildings, which includes living space for the budget-minded to high-end, upscale living. This job opening centers around our Seattle Portfolio on Capitol Hill. Position:
The Leasing Consultant is the first impression to the resident experience. Do you have a passion for sales and customer service? Do you like to work independently? Would you take pride to consult with people in selecting their next home? This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to work for a locally owned, family-oriented company. The job requires reliability, high energy, and a friendly positive spirit. This is a sales position. Must have leasing experience in a multi-family environment with proven ability to meet sales goals. Leasing Agent, Leasing Professional, Leasing Manager - your experience is needed.
This is a non-exempt Full-Time hourly position.
Work Schedule:
40-hour work week to be determined by the Portfolio Manager.
The work schedule is Sunday thru Thursday or Tuesday thru Saturday, as determined by the portfolio manager. Business hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Must be flexible to work a schedule needed to meet the demands of the business.
Wage: $25 hourly plus commissions, described further in this ad under compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Show apartments to prospective tenants to fill vacancies by leasing units.
- Lease a minimum of 5 apartments each week at various buildings in the portfolio.
- Generate new leads by Marketing efforts, including posting ads online.
- Qualify leads, schedule showings, travel to multiple buildings to show units.
- Communicate with prospective residents.
- Handle the move-in process with residents on move in day.
- Market rental listings through open houses and individual showings.
- Conduct property walk at the building with attention to unit and curb appeal to maximize the property in the most positive view possible.
- Process all paperwork and move-in steps to completion on time.
- Attend weekly meetings with Leasing team and Company owners.
- Conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
Requirements:
- Must have own vehicle with insurance and current driver license required, as position requires travel in the field on a daily basis.
- Leasing experience in multifamily properties required.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals.
- Ability to work both independently and with the team in order to accomplish goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented, able to perform various tasks in a timely manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer comprehensive compensation and a benefits package, that includes:
Wage is $25 hourly.
Lease Commissions paid at $50 per lease for 4 or less, or $100 per lease when 5 or more are achieved in a reporting week. Achieve 20 net leases per month for an extra $500 monthly bonus.
Medical and Vision Insurance first of the month after employed for 60 days. The company has multiple insurance plans and contributes a large amount to the monthly premium.
10k Life Insurance paid by the company.
Paid Vacation, accrued upon hire date, at the rate of 1.64 hours of paid vacation time per 40 hours worked.
9 paid Holidays annually.
WA State Safe and Sick Time eligible at the rate of 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
401k with company match offered at 90 days from date of hire.
