Full description of the position

PLEASE NOTE: Listed Starting Income in only Base. Commission and Bonuses added with expected income of $55,000 - $70,000 avg.

NY State Solar is Growing again!! We are looking to add 5 additional People to our Inside Sales Team in our Main Sales location.

The ideal sales candidate for this Inside Sales position will be a high-energy, cool tempered, enthusiastic, and financially driven individual who is ready to join a dynamic sales team and make a difference.

Duties and Responsibilities for our Inside Sales Team:

  • Familiarizing yourself with essential details of our products and services.
  • Educate clients on the benefits of solar with the purpose of generating appointments.
  • Calling or taking calls from prospective clients interested in transition to Solar.
  • Fielding basic questions and concerns about the products and services we offer.
  • Scheduling a consultation between the prospective client and a Sales Representative.
  • Utilizing CRM (Salesforce) to keep a detailed log of conversation notes and feedback throughout the day
  • Informing the team of recurrent product-related complaints that warrant addressing.
  • Working with cross functional team members to better improve the solar customer sales experience.

Inside Sales Team Requirements:

  • Proven Inside Sales experience in a Phone Call driven environment
  • Computer literate - Good Basic Knowledge Needed
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding listening skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Professional and courteous disposition
  • Persuasive and results oriented
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
  • The patience and ability to engage customers in conversation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
