Responsibilities

• Must have at least six months of consecutive retail experience.
• Must be able to quickly and accurately perform basic math applications when using the cash register and pricing merchandise.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Welcome each customer into the store, explain sales and pricing module, and answer their queries as needed.
• Perform closing tasks (locking doors, cleaning floor, cleaning bathroom, emptying trash, etc.)
• Restock sales floor merchandise in an orderly manner
• Price merchandise per company practices
• Assist customers in locating merchandise
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager from time-to-time
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchase
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Comply with inventory control procedures

Skills

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions required
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts

Flexible schedule; including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Employees must be willing to occasionally work varying shifts any day of the week between 8 AM to 7 PM. PT work is 3-4 days a week, 16-24 hours, FT work is 4-5 days a week, 30-40 hours.

Immediate shift placement available for 8 AM to 7 PM five days a week.

Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
