Full description of the position

EnviroStaff is recruiting an Environmental Industry Sales Executive based in the Houston, TX area for a leading Environmental Field-testing equipment/instrument company. The Sales executive would be responsible for revenue growth and profitability of their assigned territory. The successful candidate is currently working in or selling to Environmental Consulting Engineering firms, Remediation Contractors and Industrial Hygiene or Healthy and Safety consulting firms.

Responsibilities:

You will generate sales and rentals of equipment and consumable supplies in your territory through regular phone, email, and face-to-face contact with existing and potential customers. Provide application/operation training, through lunch and learns and product demonstrations to build your sales network.

Using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools, you will maintain records of your contacts, activities, leads, opportunities, and quotes. These will allow you to forecast sales/rentals on an ongoing basis.

Key Knowledge and Skills:

Environmental/Industrial Hygiene industry experience in a sales or consultant capacity will allow you to succeed in this role.

Through effective time & territory management you will maintain a sales plan to grow sales and your client base; identify new local and regional project opportunities; follow up with prospective and established clients to provide full-service project support for their field sampling/testing requirements.

You will attend targeted local and regional industry professional association conferences and tradeshow events. Coordinate with Marketing to develop and implement promotional programs for your territory.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent sales-related work experience in Environmental Consulting, Engineering & Construction, Industrial Health & Safety, oil and gas, aerospace and defense, renewable and nonrenewable power, civil infrastructure, and manufacturing industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
