About the role:
This role will provide critical Sales Finance support to the Banking Solutions & Capital Markets segments. You will be directly supporting the FP&A Director of Sales Finance as a liaison between Sales Leaders, Business Leaders, and Line of business Finance Teams. This person will be instrumental in helping maintain consistent, sustainable and insightful interlock processes, to support monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning/forecasting activities with a heavy focus on sales to revenue conversion across our complex set of products, fee types and delivery mechanisms.
What you will be doing:
- Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
- Meets with organizational unit/department managers to discuss and establish timelines and methodologies for completing budgets.
- Researches and compiles data to forecast and prepare annual and monthly budget projections for a division or similar group of organizations.
- Tracks revenue and expenses on a monthly basis, comparing actual to forecasted figures and makes necessary adjustments.
- Performs economic research and studies in areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
- Prepares reports for management summarizing results of research, analyses and evaluation of any discrepancies.
- Gathers and analyzes current data to aid in estimating future expenditures.
What you will need:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years Corporate Finance experience
- Bachelors degree is required, Finance or Accounting highly preferred
- Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles as well as company accounting policies, procedures and standards
- Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
- Analytical and statistical examination skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $91,800.00 - $154,220.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
