(For the right candidate, we would be open to considering part-time.). However, you must be able to work in our downtown Cleveland office on a regular/as-needed basis.

Position Overview:

As the Sales Development Specialist at FactCite, you will play a pivotal role in our growth by generating and qualifying leads. Your curiosity, upbeat personality, exceptional communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Researching to identify prospects

Conducting email marketing outreach, including growing the email list and maintaining the email calendar

Managing conference participation (virtual and in-person) as required, including booth planning, set-up, and representation

Securing product previews to meet agreed-upon goals

Hosting guided virtual tours of FactCite for prospective customers

Monitoring prospects interest to move them through the decision-making process

Collaborating with others to nurture previewers to become subscribers

Working with consortium partners to grow subscriber base

Key Performance Indicators:

Generating qualified leads and achieving goals

Meeting company growth and subscriber retention goals

Continuous improvement in knowledge of the K12 market

Active listening to identify opportunities and changes in customer decision-making factors

Presentation skills

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree preferred

1+ years selling experience preferred; willing to train the right person!

Proven track record in exceeding goals, preferably in sales

Comfortable with Windows environment.

Familiarity with FileMaker Pro, Microsoft Office, and iContact (or other email marketing platform) a plus.

Ability to learn new technology

Curious, well-organized, able to work with little supervision

Honest, open, and always professional in interactions with prospects and subscribers

Willingness to travel as needed; the position requires travel to approximately 8-10 library conferences per year

Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities

Experience in and knowledge of K-12 market a plus

Salary & Benefits

Salary range $48,000- $52,000 plus bonus depending on company performance

Flexible pay equal to 15% of salary

Paid time off and paid holidays
