What to Expect
Tesla is looking for a senior planner to lead our global vehicle sales forecast. This role will be part of the global vehicle operations planning team and create the comprehensive demand signal that directly drives supply chain, factory, pricing, and logistics decisions.
What Youll Do
  • Own Teslas global vehicle sales forecasting process
  • Generate central forecasts for all markets using our existing automated forecasting tools by identifying steady state baselines and determining overlays to make to those based on growth rates, seasonality, store openings, sales programs, etc.
  • Work with market teams to consolidate and review their local forecasts, and align on those trends to incorporate into the central forecast
  • Maintain and improve automated forecasting tools and reporting as needed
  • Provide weekly updates to Demand Planning team, finance, and market teams on sales performance and trends
  • Work with our order management team to manage the automated model that allocates our high level forecast down to an SKU + location level
What Youll Bring
  • 4+ years in consulting, strategy, planning, finance, or a cross-functional supply chain role
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to effectively own an operational process
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Embrace of change and rapid pace of work
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel
  • SQL skills strongly preferred
