Avera Health Plans is currently seeking a Director of Consumer Sales to join our Team in Sioux Falls, SD.

Job Summary

The Director of Consumer Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive new sales growth and retain Medicare Supplement, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) and Individual & Family Plan Marketplace policyholders. Leading a team of sales professionals, they will analyze market trends, collaborate with marketing and product teams, and build relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. The Director will monitor sales performance metrics, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and drive innovation in sales processes.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years experience in the insurance industry with a proven sales track record preferred.

Certification, Licensure and/or Registrations

  • This position requires a valid drivers license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health Automobile Liability Insurance carrier.
  • Active SD Health and Life License is required, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Hours

  • Monday - Friday (Days) with some weekend and evening involvement
