Job Overview:

The Senior Sales Executive - (Base Metals & PGMs) will be responsible for driving sales of our metals products, establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the metals market, excellent communication skills, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the metals market.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.

- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

- Conduct market analysis to identify potential areas for business growth.

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients.

- Ensure timely and accurate execution of sales contracts

- Work closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

- Provide market insights to inform product development and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or Chemistry is a plus. An MBA is preferred for those candidates seeking to become senior traders. Possible exception for candidates that completed commodities trading programs.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in sales of base metals, PGMs or related commodities.
  • Strong understanding of the metals market and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Languages: English (Required), Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and German are a plus.
