Join Neighborhood Properties, Inc., a locally-owned real estate development, investment, and management company based in Charlottesville, VA, with over 40 years of expertise. We're expanding and seeking the BEST experienced leasing agent to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to $50,000 plus commissions and a comprehensive benefits package.

As a Leasing Agent with NPI, you'll be pivotal in marketing and leasing our residential rental properties. Your role includes generating interest through various channels, conducting apartment tours, and ensuring maximum occupancy. The schedule for this full-time position is Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm & Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Agent must be available for evening and weekend showings if necessary.

JOB DUTIES:

• Marketing & Sales
• Generate interest in the property through face-to-face interactions, internet and phone conversations
• Conduct market surveys to stay competitive
• Resident Service
• Provide exceptional customer service and exceed residents' expectations
• Address and resolve issues promptly
• Administration
• Schedule appointments, process rental applications, and manage resident work orders

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Previous leasing experience required
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Appfolio preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test and background screening
