Full description of the position

The Associate Sales Representative works within the sales team to manage the day-to-day administration associated with Corins orthopedic joint replacement cases and our inventory in the Denver Market. This individual will work closely with the Regional Sales Leader and Sales Associates. You will need to be located within the Denver, Colorado area for this position.
The key responsibilities of the Associate Sales Representative are to
  • Build strong, positive relationships while representing Corin within the operating room and then after with surgeons, hospital staff, fellows, and residents.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Leader and other team members to identify potential Corin sales targets and utilize UNITE to bring them through the sales pipeline.
  • Plans and organizes activities related to the day-to-day utilization of Corin orthopedic and technology products.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Leader to create, establish, administer, and review goals and objectives for the continued development of the market and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Leader and other team members to coordinate efficient case and asset management to maximize sales and profitability with current customer base and new accounts.
  • Ensure the submission of detailed and accurate billing to both hospitals and Corin.
  • Complete training and certifications on Corin products to ensure complete and up-to-date knowledge of the Corin portfolio.
  • Interpret, apply, and explain laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, and practices about total joint reconstruction.
  • Identify and execute continuing process improvements and problem resolution.
  • Complete necessary training, certification, and health requirements to access active and future facilities of Corin customers.
The ideal Associate Sales Representative
  • Bachelor's degree (BS), associate degree (AS) in a scientific discipline (preferred) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) accreditation; 2-3 years in related medical device sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the medical device industry is required, orthopedics experience with a focus on total joint replacement is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in state, federal, and other regulations pertinent to medical device sales (Sunshine Act, Advamed, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge of competitor products
  • Demonstrated history of effective and creative customer problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly.
  • Demonstrated success in holding accountable to tasks and successful management of timelines.
  • Computer skills for practical use with email, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • May require approximately 10% domestic travel to meetings, conferences, and product training.
