Full description of the position

Job Description:

As a Canvassing Team Manager for NY State Solar, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base by leading a team of canvassers to generate leads and set appointments for home solar consultations. You will be responsible for coaching, motivating, and managing a team of canvassers to meet and exceed appointment setting targets. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for renewable energy.

Responsibilities of a Canvassing Team Manager:

  • Lead and manage a team of canvassers to generate leads and set appointments for home solar consultations.
  • Develop and implement effective canvassing strategies to maximize lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to canvassers to help them achieve their targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of canvassers and provide feedback to improve their effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of appointments and maximize conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements of a Canvassing Team Manager:

  • Previous experience in canvassing, direct sales, or appointment setting, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets in a sales or lead generation role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance and achieving goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of solar energy and renewable energy technologies is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
