Full description of the position

We are currently looking an outside sales/business development professional to lead client relations for our firm.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and strengthening relationships with new and existing clients, general contractors, subcontractors and other teaming partners
• Identifying new bid opportunities
• Coordinating with our internal project teams, and with senior leadership in support of new business pursuits
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research and strategic planning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential growth areas

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of Business Development/Sales experience within the Construction Industry (preferred)
• Experience performing market analysis, developing business/marketing strategies
• Candidates must be personable, able to multi task, with a proven track record of following through on projects and deadlines
• Candidates must be able to travel throughout Michigan and possibly across the US
