The job duties of a VERIFY, Inc. New Sales Representative is responsible for performing an array of activities such as:
- Responsible for the development of customer solutions by performing analysis of new customer needs and available resources for specific services and solutions with minimal guidance
- Evaluates alternatives and makes recommendations to the internal and external teams
- Supports sales and campaign activities by contributing to the development of strategies and tactics
- Leverages company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by developing a general understanding of Verify, Inc. services, processes, operations and stakeholders
- Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors' products and services to develop a general understanding of competitor activities and improve our competitive position
- Captures and documents general information related to customer business, culture, issues and concerns, requirements, and economic and environmental influences by researching available resources, web-sites and publications
- Supports company defined strategy and execution for each assigned customer account.
- Responsible for account retention and development including conducting research, as well as identification and cultivation of business and customer development opportunities.
- Supports the approval process by contributing to the development of documentation and data to obtain necessary stakeholder approvals
- Supports preparation for negotiations by assessing detailed customer knowledge, competitive analysis and product/service information
- Consolidates information in necessary documents to clarify understanding of the business opportunities and arrangements for stakeholders
- Responsible for the communication with all customer and internal Verify, Inc stakeholders to keep both apprised of key issues and concerns regarding new sales projects.
- Responsible for the preparation of proposals by contributing to the development of statement of work, cost estimates and pricing to ensure customer requirements are addressed
- Ensures proposal compliance at a detailed level
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of management review materials
- Responsible for the preparation of internal and external presentations and supporting material
- Gathers and compiles strategic information into a consolidated packages to facilitate the alignment of strategy and tactics
- Makes recommendations to customers that are designed to solve business challenges as it relates to our customers needs.
- Develops, maintains and interacts with a broad scope of new and existing customers within the aviation market to increase sales and services through product knowledge, education and value proposition
- Develops and executes existing sales strategies, manage sales cycles, coordinate ad-hoc sales activities and growing assigned customers' revenue and margins in accordance with the defined sales goals while maintaining the highest sales and service standards.
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Experience within the aerospace or aviation industry
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace industry related to Sales and Customer Service
- Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
- Ability to grasp multiple systems and processes to support responsibilities
- Proven ability to support business development efforts
- Contract review experience
- Knowledge of or experience with federal regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, supervisory and personnel management skills are key attributes for successful performance in this role.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills
- Strong customer service background and sales goal orientation
- Willing and able to travel domestically or internationally
- Hybrid position or potential to be fully remote
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field Equivalent experience can also be considered
- Post-secondary education
- Demonstrated working knowledge of aviation professional sales and services
- Experience working with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) providers, Operators, OEM's and/ or Corporate aviation entities
- Comfort with Manufacturing Processes, Requirements, Supply Chains.
- Good project management skills.
- Experience in Professional Services & Solution Selling.
