Job Summary:
Ichor Strategies is looking to employ a dedicated and detail-oriented Growth Associate Director/Director to support all sales initiatives through corporate and public sector research.
The ideal candidate will be interested in powering the sales engine of a management consulting firm, working with the Managing Partner of Growth to develop go-to-market strategies. This individual must be creative and results-driven, an excellent problem solver, tested in high-profile and high-intensity work environments, and possess exceptional
interpersonal skills. Prior sales research and project management experience required.
Reporting to the Managing Partner of Sales, this position will work full-time in our Brooklyn headquarters with a hybrid schedule. This position requires a minimum 40-hour workweek and occasional evening and/or weekend work, depending upon the workload.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Ichor's services, competition, and broader market dynamics that frame the business context both present and over the next few years.
- Manage Sales Research team, responsible for identifying prospects and preparing Sales Leads for meetings with prospective clients through research and prep sessions.
- Conduct, review, and finalize research on corporate and public entity targets, understanding sector trends and pain points unique to each target.
- Oversees research requests from start to finish, starting with working with internal teams to understand a prospects research needs.
- Writes clear, accurate, and concise summaries of research findings; Helps assemble research and materials for various business development priorities.
- Prepare, review, and finalize sales proposals in collaboration with Sales Leads and Service Leads.
- Develop effective strategies to increase company sales.
- Analyze metrics, outcomes, feedback, and insights associated with current outreach and strategies to recommend improvements.
- Project manage assigned sales opportunities throughout their life cycles.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure alignment between sales outreach and marketing content, events, and outreach.
- Stay current with target industry trends and relevant regulatory/legislative
developments.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Public Relations, Economics, Politics, or related field and 5+ years of experience, or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
- 1-3 years of experience specifically in sales and research.
- Previous people management experience highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of macro-financial trends and ability to digest commonly used individual company financial performance metrics (e.g., EBIDTA, P/E ratios, etc.).
Skills & Abilities:
- Innovative, creative, and self-motivated.
- HubSpot, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel) experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic research tools and databases (Lexis Nexis, Politico, Google, Bloomberg, Census Bureau, Academic Journals, etc.)
- Ability to work collaboratively while exercising discretion and independent judgment.
- Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
- Agility to change course quickly as needed in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating complex ideas effectively.
- Meticulously proofreads written work using an understanding of correct grammar and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Project management skills and process-oriented.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Multi-lingual a plus.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
