What You'll Be Doing as the Sales and Use Tax Manager:

• Manages the sales/use tax revenue program, which includes interpreting and applying the Sales and Use Tax Ordinance.
• Manages the business licensing, sales/use tax compliance, and audit functions.
• Act as technical sales/use tax resource for staff including researching and reporting on revenue sources. Maintains current knowledge of the City and state laws relating to sales/use tax.
• Manages the revenue program including the development and implementation of program strategies and policies for a variety of issues and programs that may impact internal and external service provision.
• Assist in the development of schedules, formats, and procedures for budget preparation and control.

About You as the Sales and Use Tax Manager:

• 6+ years of operational accounting experience preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field, required
• Prior Supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in software applications including Excel, Outlook, and accounting systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
