Full description of the position

Hotel Group Sales Manager
Job Description
The Hotel Group Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel Group revenue and occupancy. They will work closely with the hotel's management team to identify target markets and develop marketing campaigns to attract new Group business. The Hotel Sales Manager will also maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure their satisfaction with the hotel's services. This is a Full-Time salary position.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel Group revenue and occupancy.
  • Identify target markets and develop marketing campaigns to attract new Group business and new business accounts.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure their satisfaction with the hotel's services.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's sales Director management team to develop pricing strategies and packages.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay up to date on industry trends.
  • Prepare and present weekly sales reports to the hotel's sales management team.
  • Manage the hotel's group sales booked and provide training and provide timely group cover reports for the next 10 days to the Sales Coordinator.
  • Additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software
  • Ability to travel as needed, to make sales calls, and appointments to increase
    Group Sales bookings.
