Full description of the position

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the agriculture shipping industry.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect for potential clients.
• Present and promote shipping services to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
• Travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience in the shipping industry, preferably with a focus on agriculture shipping.
• Established book of business in the agriculture shipping sector is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
