Full description of the position

Growing dessert manufacturer from Japan seeks an energetic Outside Sales Representative to help establish and develop relationships with B2B customers throughout Southern California.

Location: Irvine, CA

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $ 50K 60K per year, exempt

Requirements of the Outside Sales Representative:

  • 2+ years work experience in either a B2B or B2C environment
  • Japanese language skills are a plus but not required
  • Outgoing and proactive personality
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Approximately 50% local travel

Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative:

  • Responsible for developing relationships with customers and growing accounts in their assigned territory
  • Coordinate and determine sales distribution by establishing sales market, quotas, and goals
  • Review production schedules and determine sales potential and inventory requirements to manage current and new customers
  • Develop and direct marketing activities to promote products in coordination
  • Attend food shows to generate new sales leads
  • Handle customer inquiries by phone or email, and resolve customer complaints by investigating problems
  • Contact customers to obtain a PO and handles PO-related issues to adjust the order
  • Travel to meet current/future customers/accounts (spend 50% or more on the field)
  • Provide weekly sales status reports
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Hours: Monday Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM
