Close Up Foundation is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our newly created Account Engagement Department. We are seeking a team member with a can do attitude, friendly demeanor and proactive mindset. In this role you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for all internal and external customers by using in-depth knowledge of Foundation programs and systems to communicate effectively with team members within the Account Engagement Department and our customers. Your success in this role impacts the civic education experience of all participants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account Coordinator (main responsibility)

Provide best in class service to customers and interdepartmental staff through multiple channels to include phone, email and chat;

Provide information to and resolve the majority of incoming inquires through in-depth knowledge of the Foundation, its services, programs, website and proprietary database;

Partner with Outreach teams to support current accounts before participation;

Act as a Liaison with other departments concerning all incoming, and outstanding participant requests/needs related to execution of program;

Provide quality oversight for all participant requests handled by Account Relations;

Collaborate with other departments to ensure metrics are met surrounding program deliverables;

Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures for the department;

Provide extra support during program week/s on an as needed basis;

Regularly and respond promptly to monitor department inbox and personal/team correspondence;

Track the customer experience for clients from beginning to end and help compile data to improve their experience in future years;

QUALIFICATIONS

1. College degree and 4 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service.

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills,

3. Must be comfortable communicating and interacting with all levels of management.

4. Must be proficient in MS Outlook and MS Office (intermediate skill level in Excel and Word a plus).

5. Must be professional, be able to work independently and with diversity.

6. Must be well organized, demonstrate attention to detail and ability to manage conflicting priorities.

7. Must possess technical writing skills.

8. Demonstrate an innate ability to connect with other people and build relationships.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position with various evening and weekend working expectations. Normal operating hours are 9am 6pm Mon. -Fri. Close Up recognizes a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office with 2 remote days (this is based on organizational needs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.70 - $21.63 per hour
