Full description of the position

F.W. Webb, Northeasts largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Regional HVAC Sales Manager based out of it's Portland, ME location.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Webb GMs, Outside Sales, and Webb Corporate to establish and execute HVAC sales goals in the region for both Webb branches and contractors.
  • Supports local branch efforts with HVAC customers through organized training, joint calls, inventory reviews, monitoring market pricing, marketing, promotions, brand awareness and managing relevant vendor relationships.
  • Achieve year over year sales growth on the overall category with focus also on margin improvement.
  • Work with branches to recruit and onboard residential dealers with our priority HVAC lines.
  • Reviews market and product trends including rebates relative to the HVAC industry, identify sales opportunities, and program improvements.
  • Develop strong manufacturer and customer relationships to ensure growth in the HVAC category.
  • Launching new products & services in the market through our counters, outside sales teams, inside sales teams, etc. Including HVAC promotions and Webb exclusive programs.
  • Assisting/Coaching sales personnel in their techniques and follow-up to improve results. Integral in developing systems to improve efficiencies for inside/outside sales people covering HVAC accounts.
  • Working with under-performing locations to identify problems and developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term.
  • Educating sales teams via presentations of strategies, seminars, trainings, and regular meetings.
  • Establishing strong relationships with manufacturers, rep firms, and key customers throughout the region.
  • Ability to create lead generation for new opportunities and ability to help with quoting as needed.
  • Planning and executing contractor trainings, high-level events, and HVAC factory trips as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Great communication skills
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • 7+ years of sales and/or sales management experience
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout ME/NH/VT regions, some overnights
  • Strong Knowledge of HVAC Programs & Systems
  • Ability to navigate national and regional rebates/incentives
  • Clear and convincing presentation capabilities
  • High regard for customer service
  • Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
