Hybrid Remote Position

We specialize in functional printing & material converting manufacturing processes within tight tolerance and regulated environments. As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a results-driven technical Business Development Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

New Business Acquisition:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through market research, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials that effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue forecasts and expand market share with target accounts.
  • Work closely with the marketing & leadership teams to align sales strategies with overall marketing initiatives and messaging.

Custom Solutions Positioning:

  • Gain a clear understanding of all specifications and expectations of RFQs or product development projects and communicate to the Tapecon Operations team.
  • Stay abreast on industry technologies and trends along with manufacturing capabilities to be a subject matter expert for prospective customers.
  • Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our custom solutions to clients, collaborating with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure consistency in service offerings.

Deal Closing:

  • Lead negotiations and close deals with both new and existing clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams to ensure a smooth transition post-sale

Market Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Provide regular updates on market dynamics and competitor insights to the leadership team, collaborating with the marketing team to refine strategies as needed.
  • Lead regular client Progress & Benefit Reviews with our top customers to assess progress, highlight benefits, and strengthen & expand customer relationships.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Nurture and strengthen relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to address client requirements and resolve any issues promptly. Ensure proper hand-off of issue solving to customer support teams.

Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering or equivalent experience in the industry
  • 3 or more years of technical B2B sales experience
  • Strong understanding of value-added services and customized solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Total compensation:

The base salary range reflects the potential compensation for this position. Salary will vary based on factors including experience. Additionally, this role offers variable pay tied to achieving sales targets.
