Join us in making the Coffee Business the local coffees of choice with your experience to:

• Build and maintain relationships with grocery store management to increase brand visibility within accounts.
• Act as liaison between Water Avenue Coffee and See See Motor Coffee whole bean and cold brew coffees and grocery retail locations within their assigned markets.
• Maintain the grocery accounts to ensure that information, updates, and changes are accurately shared between entities.
• Write out orders, credits, and plan out delivery for assigned grocery account.
• Forecast and place weekly orders.
• Navigate route and drive cargo van to deliver and offload products to grocery accounts in assigned market.
• Merchandise store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and date code rotation.
• Build store displays.
• Prospect and onboard new accounts within the assigned market.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) / truck to store experience
• Proven experience in route sales, grocery sales, and/or account management
• Valid driver's license with no suspensions
• Due to Federal and State Regulations, must be at least 18 years of age
• Order writing experience
• NetSuite experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines with attention to detail and organization
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with accounts
• Ability to successfully work independently in various settings and in a fast-paced environment
• High integrity and openness
• Highly motivated with an inquiring mind and passion for excellence

Environment

Work is performed primarily in a fast-paced warehouse and grocery setting with frequent public contact, distractions, and loud noises.

Physical

The person in this position needs to occasionally or frequently:

• Operate basic office equipment
• Operate basic cafe and warehouse equipment
• Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs to service the machinery, lights, ceiling fans, etc.
• Be able to exchange accurate information while communicating with accounts
• Work in a noisy/distracting environment
• Lifting, bending, stooping, reaching
• Standing or sitting for long hours
• Ability to lift 50 pounds (30 pounds overhead)
• Ability to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
