AVP, Consumer Sales Salary Range (Annually)

• $127,644.05 - $135,408.46

AVP, Consumer Sales Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the non-commercial business and consumer loan and new account origination functions, including outside business development, by collaborating with the Vice President of Consumer Sales to develop department goals, strategies and action plans that create a competitive advantage and align with the Credit Unions mission and long-term vision.
• Manages all human resource related activities for the Express Business Services and Consumer Sales Departments including; maintaining accurate job descriptions, recruiting, hiring, training, employee development and performance evaluation
• Monitors resource capacity needs for the departments, proactively identifies the need for additional resources, new resources and/or opportunities to optimize department overhead and presents recommendations in a timely manner
• Evaluates processes, procedures and systems for compliance, efficiency and effectiveness. Recommends process, procedure and system changes as needed.
• Collaborates with Processing and Underwriting Management to ensure lending policies, procedures and guidelines compliment the consumer loan product line and service delivery.
• Prepares accurate, timely reports and analysis for Credit Union management, volunteer committees and the Board of Directors as needed.
• Prepares or oversees preparation of annual budget for department and ensures that the department operates within budget guidelines and monitors business units performance in order to operate within SCCU financial objectives.
• Responds to internal/external audit findings in a timely manner and recommends appropriate changes to processes and procedures after cost/benefit analysis.

AVP, Consumer Sales Minimum Qualifications

• 5-8 years of prior experience required, preferably in a financial institution

• BA Degree in business related field of studied or equivalent work experience required.

• Must have the ability to obtain NMLS licensing/registration within the first eight weeks of employment. The NMLS license/registration is required for this position.
