McLaren Industries is a leading industrial components manufacturer servicing the construction machinery industry.

The company specializes in rubber tracks, puncture-proof tires, over-the-tire tracks, and metal attachments. We are headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, serving more than 500,000 customers worldwide for over 26 years.

We are seeking a Social Media Sales Assistant who is enthusiastic and capable of communicating effectively with our customers through social media outlets and online platforms to generate and grow McLarens online presence, sales, and engagement with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle all social and media inquiries: take care of all new quotes, messages, and comments in a timely manner, communicate with the customers to initiate and complete sales.
• Assist with processing orders placed from online sales.
• Follow up with any ongoing conversation online or complete sale, request a positive review.
• Develop product awareness on social media and online forums to promote the business.
• Works closely with our Sales Manager, Warehouse lead, and Marketing department to create engaging content for the companys social media presence.
• Seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
• Keeping up with internal inventory so out of stock sales do not occur.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, and other online platforms.
• Experience with Business accounts is a great plus
• Must be able to communicate clearly and precisely via our social media outlets.
• Knowledge of online paid ads is a plus
• Previous sales and customer service experience is a plus
• Minimum one year of experience in sales.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Must have analytical skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Quick to learn and remember processes.
• Knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Products is a plus
• Must be able to commute to office in Jacksonville, FL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
