Title: Sales Engineer - Japanese Bilingual

Company: The production and sales of loudspeakers, audio equipment, and electronical equipment.

Status: Full-time

Location: Novi, MI

Pay: 75K~+ (DOE)

Language: English/Japanese

Responsibilities:

• Being the Liaison between the team in Japan and North American customers Interacting with customers,
• Interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them to the cross functional teams (sales, engineer, quality, procurement, production control) in Tokyo and USA
• Proposing the design, technology, and services of speakers and haptic devices to customers
• Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions
• Collaborating with the cross functional team in Tokyo to lead new model development for automotive designs into the mass production phase
• Taking care of quality improvements based upon customer feedback

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese
• Ability to establish and maintain key partnerships with customers and internal cross functional teams
• The ability to work on multiple disciplined projects
• The ability to understand customer requirements and help on the deliverables
• Knowledge of how to read prints, specs and 3D data
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
