Regional Sales and Service Representative

Job Summary

AMVT LLC is a Katy, Texas based company specialized in sales, marketing and customer support of optical sorting machine commonly used in rice, grain, beans, nuts, coffee and seeds processing and food inspection and packaging machine. Our wide range of products include full color RGB sorter, Infra-red (IR) sorter, belt sorter, x-ray sorter, metal detector, checkweigher and packaging machine. Currently we are looking for one Sales and Service Representative(s) to cover the great market of TX/AZ/NM and surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Skills

1) Fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English;

2) Highly self-motivated and excellent track record in sales;

3) Experience with pecan, peanut, rice, grain, seeds and beans processing highly preferred;

4) Knowledge and practical experience of optical color sorter a big plus;

5) Two years of experience in industry machinery installation and service preferred;

6) A degree from vocational college or technical school in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related area is preferred;

7) Good communication and interaction and negotiation skills with people;

8) Must be able to travel frequently to meet customers and do on-site machine installation and service.

Responsibilities and Duties

1) Generate leads and sales through cold calling, networking and emails

2) Color sorter on-site installation, training and service for existing customers;

3) Troubleshooting and any other technical support/service via phone/internet for existing customers;

4) Coordinate customer sample test, evaluation and result summary;

5) Organize trade show material and attend trade show;

6) Keep good documentation of sales, service and installation actions.
