We have a current opportunity to join our team as a Sales Manager in the exciting hospitality industry.

The Sales Manager will support the Director of Sales by receiving and following up on leads. Perform clerical duties such as data entry, typing correspondence and reports, filing and answering phones, assembling and disseminating event order information, prepare sales files. Assist managers in turning down leads and in disseminating hotel information by sending sales kits and brochures. Maintaining the meeting room event schedule, confirming availability and coordinating guest requests; setup, catering, etc.

Some additional duties Include:

• Working closely with guests/groups to coordinate their reservations and/or meeting needs.
• Maintaining the Hotels social media page on Facebook updating as needed.
• Data mining to generate leads and gather information on upcoming events.
• Coordinating the arrangements for special events with outside services and internal departments.
• Front Desk Assistance as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of administrative experience, hotel experience a plus
• Bilingual skills a plus
• Presents a professional appearance, demeanor and is passionate about hospitality and demonstrates warmth and caring in guest and team member interactions
• Interpersonal skills verbal and written communication with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities
• Guest service skills lead by example and take a proactive approach to problem solving and building a positive reputation for the hotel
• Organization skills must be able to multi-task effectively and evaluate among alternative courses of action
