Preferred Contracting and Construction is a rapidly growing company located in Woodbury, MN serving Minnesota and Wisconsin. We are looking for dedicated and motivated individuals to join our expanding retail and insurance SALES TEAM.
Candidates will have a strong work ethic, be EXCITED ABOUT SALES. It involves going door to door or using network to find homeowners needing their roofing, siding, windows replaced.
We will show you how to thrive in a near recession proof industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Understand and articulate materials and products we use to customers.
- Meet with homeowners to provide an inspection of potential damage on property.
- Listen to homeowners wants and needs to create a detailed and thorough estimate.
- Assist homeowners with the insurance claim process.
- Work with production managers and office staff to ensure the success of every job.
- Track all sales activities in CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
- Be responsible and accountable.
Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in the home improvement industry, especially roofing, siding, gutters, and storm restoration, is helpful but not required.
- Prior experience in retail sales, door-to-door or B2B is also helpful but not required.
- Collaboration with colleagues
- Problem solver, ability to think on your feet and provide solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Valid drivers license IS AS MUST
- Reliable transportation
- Able to climb a ladder, walk on roofs, and lift ~50 lbs
