Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and delivery
- Manage a team of catering staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure that all catering events are executed smoothly and meet the highest quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences
- Coordinate with vendors to secure necessary supplies and equipment for catering events
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies and place orders as needed
- Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability of catering operations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance the catering experience

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in kitchen management or assistant manager role is required
- Proven track record in the catering industry, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices
- Familiarity with banquet and restaurant management procedures
- Ability to effectively manage a team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Proficient in shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak times
- Experience conducting interviews and selecting qualified candidates for catering positions
- Culinary background or certification is preferred but not required
