Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Security Sales Representative to join our team. As a Security Sales Representative, you will be responsible for designing, promoting and selling our products or services to potential customers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success. Pay will consist of base pay and commission discussed upon hire plus vehicle allowance.
Duties:
In this role, you will be responsible for calling on Facility Managers, Security Directors, IT Directors, and Construction and Planning Departments within an end user account. Additionally, you will partner with local selling partners including wholesalers, integrators, locksmiths, and distributors to maximize positive impact with end user accounts. We need a sales professional capable of relationship and technical solution selling within the commercial construction, multi-family, and property management market segments to gain approval for the product lines represented. Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers including locksmiths, facility managers, IT networking managers and executives. Develop short- and long-term sales plans. Identify and classify the sales potential of each client. Establish a network of clients with a high level of trust, developing relationships quickly and easily. Apply discovery abilities including prospecting, profiling, qualifying, identifying client needs, and presenting solutions. You will need to design low voltage electrical, controlling equipment, telecommunications cable infrastructure to support IP based connections including Voice, Data, Wi-Fi, Audio Visual, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection. Stay up to date on the latest technology and trends in the industry.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience: 4 years of Security system sales or 5+ years in security system industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Knowledge of technical sales or technology-related products is a plus
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for success
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
