The prestigious New York Athletic Club, one of the world's premier private clubs, founded in 1868 and located in Central Park South in Manhattan, is seeking a full-time experienced Retail Associate. The Retail Associate will be responsible for greeting and assisting our members and guests in finding products in the retail store, answering questions, and helping them decide which products to buy. Other responsibility will include:

• Complete monthly inventory
• Setting and attaining sales goals
• oversee e-commerce site
• Assist with setting up displays.
• Recommending the best products to our members and guests.
• Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing.
• Provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Expand knowledge of products so that customer questions can be properly addressed.
• Assist in receiving and processing product shipments.

• Maintain a standard of cleanliness in the store by following set guidelines.

Retail Associate skills and qualifications

Retail Associates need to possess a strong set of skills to perform their duties effectively, including:

• Comprehensive understanding of the store products
• Advanced customer service skills
• Experience in Retail and POS
• Strong level of professionalism at work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to details
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Schedule - flexible availability including weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
