Full description of the position

We are Vicarious, an innovative staffing agency for emerging and established creative professionals. Were currently seeking Account Managers of all levels to work with our awesome clients.

As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in acting as the primary point of contact between clients and their vendors to ensure needs are understood and met. You will manage current contracts while continuously building stronger relationships and ensuring both parties are satisfied. There could be opportunities to find creative ways of locating prospective clients and closing sales deals to create new customers.

Responsibilities include:
  • Finding solutions to any client issues
  • Managing departments to foster a positive client-company relationship
  • Communicating with clients to ensure their needs are understood and addressed
  • Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers
  • Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure they fulfill all customer requests
  • Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the clients desires
  • Acting as the clients representative to ensure their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience
  • Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs
  • Establishing improvements in the agency process through client training, status meetings, and detailed communications
  • Helping to establish and streamline processes between account, project management, and creative departments
To qualify, please have:
  • Strong problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate ideas to clients
  • Up-to-date understanding of the consumer behavior
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customers and clients
  • Exceptional analytical skills for interpreting client data
  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
  • Advanced negotiation skills to close contracts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

We work with corporate and agency clients, and roles could be from a few hours on up to full-time permanent. Roles can be onsite, remote, or hybrid.

Compensation is based on experience, and we provide healthcare benefits. Theres an opportunity for a 401(k) after 6 months.
