Entry Level Field Sales Natural Gas Leak Detection Instrumentation

Pergam Technical Services, an innovator in laser-based aerial gas leak detection systems and infrared power line inspection technology, is looking for an entry level field sales person. The mission of Pergam is to enhance natural gas pipeline safety.

This position calls for a candidate who can provide a technical customer sales and service presence for Pergam Technical Services clients domestically and internationally. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Must be Renton-based--no relocation-assistance offered.

The Essential Tasks of the Technical Services/Field Engineer:

Sell natural gas leak detection equipment and provide support at trade shows.

Assist with sales/technical presentations using power point.

Support the sales staff as required with customer sales and telephone contacts.

Preferred Qualifications of the Technical Services/Field Engineer:

Some prior technical experience, preferably in the aviation field or utility field.

Experienced in electronics and software, including troubleshooting and field customer support.

Prior services experience in natural gas or non-destructive testing fields a plus.

Prior customer service/sales experience a plus.

Strong understanding of Microsoft office products. (VBA or other coding skills is a plus)

Ability to travel extensively domestically and internationally. International experience a plus.

Pay: $79,551.64 - $87,022.35 per year
