Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your main responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet customers and determine the needs of the walk-in customers.

• Answer phones and respond to email inquiries.

• Learn the material profiles and how the components go together.

• Work with customers and potential customers to provide solutions to their railing needs.

• Run errands for the sales team, i.e. delivering pamphlets, displays, forgotten parts.

• Work with the warehouse as needed to ensure timely filling, handling, will call, delivery, and shipping of orders.

Inside Sales:

• Communicate with customers, including GCs, and salespersons for building suppliers via email, phone, and walk ins.

• Provide working knowledge to homeowners and GCs for installation needs.

• Create customer estimates by working closely with the G/C and homeowner customers.

• Follow-up on outstanding estimates with customers.

• Utilize plans/drawing from customers to determine railing needs.

• Create parts list from estimates.

• Create pick list from estimates for warehouse so orders can be fulfilled.

• Work with homeowners and builders to schedule installs.

• Processing of online orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Computer, and internet savvy with working knowledge of MS Excel & Word.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.

• Able to pass random drug test, including for marijuana.

• High level of honesty and integrity.

• References from former employers and colleagues.

• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Fishbowl is a plus.

• Experience in reading construction drawings.

• Understanding of how the PRO railing components work together to create a system.

• Ability to learn how the products are installed.

• Basic knowledge of the construction industry

• Self-disciplined, independent self-starter with the ability to accept direction and correction.

• Knowledge and utilization of Bluebeam.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
