Position: Sales Engineer II
Master Machine Inc is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer II to join our team. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by working closely with customers and the MMI inside team to determine and communicate a success strategy, including cost-estimation, formal proposals, negotiations, etc. As the front line in many customer interactions, you are the face of MMI, and professionalism and work ethic are paramount. This critical role requires a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, solving complex technical problems, and winning.
Background:
- Track record of success in a similar role in B2B sales of technical products, especially non-catalog products
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving / exceeding sales targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or qualifying work experience
- Ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
- Ability to travel to customer sites if required, although travel is not a significant part of this role

Responsibilities:
- Review customer drawings and provide material takeoffs, manufacturing estimates, and work with sales team to determine pricing strategy to penetrate and grow clients and markets.
- Review client and industry specifications and drawings to determine technical requirements
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, including project scope, timeframes, and cost estimates
- Conduct technical discussions with customers to understand their business objectives and determine a strategy to secure attractive business opportunities
- Interface with internal technical and operations personnel to achieve success for customer base.
Other Requirements:
- Job may require some travel (<20%) to customer sites.
- Off-hours work to support customers, when necessary.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Other assignments for support of business and career growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
