Job Overview:
Ballard Realty, Inc is a family owned and operated property management business located in Ballard, WA. We professionally manage properties throughout the Seattle area. We are looking to add a full-time experienced licensed Property Manager to our company. This position will be responsible for the overall management of our portfolio and assist in our collaborative approach to property management.
As a Property Manager - you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties and ensuring smooth operations while effectively resolving conflicts and disputes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining positive tenant relations and help in the day to day operations of our company.
Duties:
Overseeing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant communications.
Showing vacant units.
Proactively identifying and addressing potential conflicts or disputes among tenants, neighbors, and property owners.
Implementing effective conflict resolution strategies to mitigate issues.
Conducting thorough investigations into complaints or conflicts and implementing appropriate resolutions in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with tenants, property owners, vendors, and other relevant parties.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field (preferred).
Washington State Real Estate License (required).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven experience in property management, with a focus on conflict resolution and tenant relations.
Dependability-requires being reliable, responsible, dependable and fulfilling assigned tasks.
Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (word, excel)
Experience in Appfolio property management software (a plus).

Pay: $75,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
